The Russian Federal Fisheries Agency set up its own stand on November 6 at the 5th All-Russian "State Start-2026" Youth State and Municipal Civil Servants Forum held in Nizhny Novgorod. The forum is aimed at young state and municipal civil servants.

At the stand, participants could learn about projects of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (ВНИРО), Главрыбвод, ЦСМС and relevant universities, and exchange views with industry experts. According to the Russian Federal Fisheries Agency, the project aims to showcase the department's working structure, introduce key directions, and engage young people in practical industry tasks.

The "Youth Council 2.0" website was presented at the stand. The website is not just a page, but a complete platform for communication, project work, reporting and exchange of experience. This platform will become a space for turning ideas into action.

The Youth Council of the Russian Federal Fisheries Agency is composed of students and young specialists from central offices, regional administrations, universities, research institutions and aquatic biological resource protection agencies. Its mission is to attract young talent to promote the sustainable development of fisheries, which is regarded as one of the reliable guarantees of the country's food security.

The Russian Federal Fisheries Agency stated that thanks to professional talent training, production modernization programs and the introduction of modern technologies, the fisheries industry maintains a positive trend and high investment appeal, supplies the domestic market with domestic products, and promotes the growth of the country's export potential.
