North Jutland Fisheries Association launches new website www.njff.dk, chairman says association needs a more modern public image
Formed on 1 April from the merger of the Skagen and Hirtshals fisheries associations, the North Jutland Fisheries Association has recently launched its new website www.njff.dk. Chairman Allan Kiilsholm Petersen says the site will be continuously developed in line with the needs of the association and fishermen.
The Danish North Jutland Fisheries Association (Nordjyllands Fiskeriforening) has recently officially launched its new website www.njff.dk. Association chairman Allan Kiilsholm Petersen announced the news.
The association has been operating since 1 April. It was formed from the merger of the fisheries associations in Skagen and Hirtshals, which combined to create this new regional fisheries organization.
Speaking about the new website, Petersen said: "I am very pleased that we have got this done, because as a fisheries association it is important to remain visible and to have a more modern form of expression."
According to the association's plans, the website will be continuously developed in line with changes in the needs of the association itself and of fishermen. The association stressed that the website's most important function is to make it easy for fishermen, the media and anyone interested in the North Jutland Fisheries Association to find contact details and information about the association.
Petersen also said the website is a channel for the association to tell its own story and explain what it values and what it stands for. "The website is a good place to communicate this kind of information," he said.
Since the new website went live, the chairman has already received the first comments, and the feedback so far has all been positive. "That naturally makes me very happy, because the website has been long awaited, and now I look forward to continuing to develop it so that it becomes even better for fishermen and other users," Petersen said.
