Ideal Control and AbastibleTec Join Forces to Build a Real-Time Data Intelligence Layer for Chile's Salmon Farming Industry
Two Chilean technology companies, Ideal Control and AbastibleTec, have formed a technology alliance to integrate information from energy and oxygenation equipment at farming centers with real-time analytics tools, dashboards and reports, launching a new smart solution for Chile's salmon farming industry.
Chilean technology companies Ideal Control and AbastibleTec announced a technology alliance on October 28, 2026, under which the two parties will jointly build a new intelligence capability for Chile's salmon farming industry. According to a report by Chilean aquaculture media Mundo Acuícola that same day, the alliance aims to improve productivity, optimize oxygen and energy use, reduce costs, and strengthen the competitiveness of the aquaculture industry.
In terms of the solution's composition, it integrates information generated by energy equipment and oxygenation equipment at farming centers with data analytics tools, dashboards and real-time reports, and is tailored to each user's needs.
According to what the two parties announced, the specific improvement areas targeted by the alliance include productivity, oxygen use efficiency and energy use efficiency, as well as costs and industry competitiveness; the data sources underpinning the solution are the operating information of two types of equipment at the farming site, namely energy equipment and oxygenation equipment.
