Norway whole fresh Atlantic salmon average price falls to NOK 75.09/kg in week 44

According to information published by SeafoodSource on November 5, 2026, the average price of Norwegian whole fresh Atlantic salmon edged lower in week 44, with both the SeafoodSource pricing portal and the Sitagri salmon index pointing to a downward direction.

The SeafoodSource pricing portal shows that the global average price of Norwegian whole fresh Atlantic salmon in week 44 was NOK 75.09 per kilogram, equivalent to USD 8.14 and EUR 7.22; the previous week (week 43) it was NOK 76.66 per kilogram, equivalent to USD 8.31 and EUR 7.37.

Both sources show that volumes in the whole fresh category fell week-on-week in week 44 but rose year-on-year.
